A closer look at the Wainscoting as it turns the corner shows some of the details in the construction. The cap is a 3/4" full radius bullnose that projects 2-1/4" from the drywall. Under that is a 3/4" cove molding. At the floor, a 4-1/2" base molding and a 3/4" shoe molding complete the main trim elements. The framework is traditional Rail & Stile joinery with the flat panel sitting in a rabbet. The panel is framed with a beaded molding.
